The South African Film Industry bids farewell to Junaid Ahmed

The National Film and Video Foundation an agency of the department of Arts and Culture, alongside the Independent Producers Organisation (IPO) invite the South African film industry to join us to celebrate the life and work of international award winning writer, director and producer Junaid Ahmed. Junaid’s work in the film industry has been pivotal in the development of not only young aspirant filmmakers but in the South African film industry as a whole. He is survived by his wife, Liza, and his children, Tariq, Taegan, Jarred and the many filmmakers he has inspired. May his soul rest in peace and his stories live on.
