On behalf of the diplomatic network of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in South Africa, we would like to invite you to the Netherlands’ biennial flagship event #cocreateMYCITY in Cape Town on 21 November 2019. Representatives from the government, the private sector and academia will come together in various parallel workshops to find Smart Solutions for Resilient Cities. We would specifically like to invite you for the workshop Lights, Camera, Action! – Leveraging the Bilateral Film Treaty between the Netherlands and South Africa. This workshop is premised on understanding the outputs thus far of the Bilateral Audio-Visual Coproduction Treaty, as well as an exploration into the opportunities in the SA and NL market through leveraging the treaty.
We will end the day with a plenary session and networking event at the Cape Town City Hall, where you will have the opportunity to meet and engage with decision-makers from the South African and Dutch government and companies active in your sector.
