The makers & shakers Awards are open for entries. The awards are brought to you by The Location Guide, makers magazine and FOCUS. The awards recognise and honour ground-breaking ideas and initiatives from players across the spectrum of the global creative screen industry. All entries are FREE and you can nominate yourself or someone you’ve worked with. Professionals from across the world’s advertising, TV, film, animation, and gaming sectors are encouraged to enter. Submit your entry online by 23 July. To qualify for an award, the work must have been completed between 1st September 2020 – 31st August 2021
 
In 2020 the KwaZulu Natal Film Commission in collaboration with WrapZero won the Sustainability Award. The jury of leading international professionals including Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (UK), LMGI, PACT and last years winners are ready to judge entries across six categories:
