Story Junction Call to Producers

The Independent Producers Organisation in partnership with the Durban FilmMart and the Talents Durban programme, hereby invites producers attending the Durban FilmMart to a morning of round tables with the projects in development from the incubators and labs in this year’s edition of Durban FilmMart and Talents Durban.

Below is a list of projects of varying formats including Short Film, Feature, Series, Animation projects. These projects will have taken part in project labs in the Talents Durban Programme with mentoring and professional development in the platforms below:-

The round tables take place at the Elangeni Hotel Suite 4, on Monday, 22 July from 10:00 – 13:00. Round tables will be taking every hours between these times and you can request a specific hour that is convenient.

The Talents Durban programme is presented by the Durban International Film Festival in cooperation with Berlinale Talents. Funders and supporters include the Durban Film Office, the Ethekwini Municipality, Goethe-Institut South Africa, the Gauteng Film Commission and the Namibian Film Commission.

Durban FilmMart is is a joint programme of the Durban Film Office (DFO) and the Durban International Film Festival (DIFF) and takes place in conjunction with Durban International Film Festival.The Durban FilmMart Finance Forum provides selected African film-makers with the opportunity to pitch film projects to leading financiers. The Durban FilmMart also facilitates networking opportunities in order for African and international filmmakers to form alliances for future.
