World Congress of Science and Factual Producers
World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP) is a member-driven organization formed by science and factual producers, broadcasters and content providers from around the world.
Each year, members gather for an annual conference in a different country to connect with colleagues through meetings and social events, learn about new industry trends as well as celebrate and be inspired by the smart content we produce and distribute. Registration to attend Congress brings with it membership in the organization.
In a response to this unprecedented time, Congress ’20 has moved online from December 8 to 10, 2020, presented with the generous support of host sponsor ARTE, the European culture channel. While unexpected, it means Congress will be more accessible to more content creators from around the world!
Congress is a must-attend event that brings together leading international creators of science, history and natural history content with top broadcasters, OTT platforms and digital publishers. Explore future trends in factual production and distribution across all media platforms, including television, VR, online, gaming, AR and film. Register today: http://wcsfp.com/entries/registration
There is special pricing available at heavily subsidized Associate Member Rates for junior executives, independent producers under 35 as well as independent digital producers—limited quantities available, so act quickly!
In times like these when we’re forced to be separated, the need for ideas, inspiration and a community to share them with becomes more important than ever. This is what Congress has always been about. We hope that you join us and your colleagues online in December as we seek to provide this dynamic and essential forum for our industry.
Submissions for The Buzzies at Congress ’20 are now open with a final deadline of October 10, 2020.
At the 2020 event, Congress will present 15 awards celebrating excellence in science, history and factual storytelling. Winners will be announced during a virtual event on the final day of Congress ’20, and will receive a signature awards statue celebrating their achievement. Winners will also receive a free registration, including full access and other benefits, to Congress ’21.
