Jackson Wild Summit Fellowship

The Jackson Wild Summit Fellowship is dedicated to elevating diverse and creative perspectives of storytellers for the conservation, protection and restoration of our natural world. The program is designed to provide networking experience, curated mentorship and professional development opportunities that will enable the participants to interact and learn from some of the world’s greatest media content creators. Jackson Wild will be accepting applications for two types of fellowships, one for Emerging Filmmakers and the other for Established Filmmakers. Fellowships will be granted to filmmakers who include historically underrepresented people and perspectives, including gender, race and ethnicity, socioeconomic background, geographic origin, educational experience and ability.

For both applicants, the reviewing committee will be looking for applicants with the potential to contribute to the field in developing films, stories, photographs, articles, or other real-world applications. For in-person fellows, fellowship will include a free pass to the 2021 Summit, and may include a modest travel/lodging stipend, in addition to mentorship and training opportunities. For virtual fellows, fellowships will include a pass to the virtual Summit, as well as mentorship and training opportunities.

Applications are due by July 19, 2021. Applicants will be considered and notified by August 4, 2021.
