IPO To Feature As Part of ‘SA In Focus Stream’ At Durban Filmmart

The IPO is proud to be participating in this year’s Durban Filmmart 2025, and to be featured as part of the cornerstone SA in Focus: State of the South African Audio-Visual Industry session. This key programme brings together leading industry stakeholders and guild representatives who will take centre stage in shaping the conversation.

The IPO will contribute to the dialogue on industry sustainability through its dedicated session titled IPO to IP: Ownership, Resistance and Global Access – Navigating the Future of African Filmmaking in the Age of Streaming and Global Coproductions. This session will feature Pepsi Pokane (Stained Glass TV), Farren van Niekerk (Irish MacLeod Inc.), Thandeka Zwana (Indigenous Film Distribution), and Ayanda Sibisi (IPO) and will take place on the 19th of July 2025 from 14:45 – 15:30 at Elangeni Hotel.
