Producers Guide to Distribution Workshop Recap

The first day, open to the public, reached capacity on our Zoom platform, with attendees joining from diverse filmmaking backgrounds, all eager to gain practical knowledge. The second day was dedicated to a private, closed session for GFC grant recipients, where participants received individualised feedback and project-specific guidance.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the Gauteng Film Commission for making this initiative possible. We are deeply grateful to our esteemed mentors; Moroba Nkawe, Thandeka Zwana, and Renee Williams, who shared their time, experience, and insights for the benefit of our members, the public, and GFC grant recipients. Their perspectives provided participants with actionable advice and powerful industry insights that will help shape their distribution strategies for years to come.
