South African Actors Celebrate Victory at The Competition Commission

The South African Guild of Actors (SAGA), in partnership with the Personal Managers Association (PMA), has managed to petition the Competition Commission for a conditional exemption from certain restrictive aspects of the Competition Act. SAGA and the PMA have announced that this is a big victory towards actors’ advocacy for fair pay and reputable acting conditions.
